The laser-induced modification of polyimide substrates to yield conductive graphitised tracks sensitive the solution pH is investigated. influence laser output and operating characteristics on surface morphology consequential impact electrochemical properties have been evaluated. Several sensor formats pursued using both potentiometric voltammetric methodologies found provide a stable means determining pH. While system was sub-Nernstian responses, employing riboflavin (vitamin B2) redox probe exhibit classic Nernstian profiles (56 mV/pH). versatility patterning shown mechanically flexible double-sided that could be suitable for use in wide variety clinical applications.
